Prof. Mariela Modeva participates in a business and investment forum between Bulgaria and China

Deputy Minister of Tourism Prof. Mariela Modeva participated in a business forum-discussion "New Horizons for Business and Investment between Bulgaria and China", organized by the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the China Media Group. The event brought together representatives of institutions, businesses, the academic community, and companies related to China. The participants were also greeted by H.E. Dai Qingli, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Bulgaria.

Prof. Modeva noted that the economic partnership between Bulgaria and China is based on trust, sustainable ties and shared opportunities in a rapidly changing world. "For the Ministry of Tourism, China is a market of particular importance. The Chinese tourist is looking for experience, history, culture and security, which they can find in Bulgaria," the Deputy Minister said.

Prof. Modeva thanked the BCCI and the China Media Group for maintaining the dialogue and for the opportunity for the forum to lead to new contacts and real projects.
