The Ministry of Tourism is creating an opportunity for the business community to participate directly in reforms in the sector

20 August 2026

The Ministry of Tourism is creating a new mechanism for the participation of businesses, nongovernmental organizations, and citizens in the reform process in the tourism sector.

Using a specially designed form, industry representatives will be able to propose specific changes to regulations, administrative procedures, work organization, or other measures that could contribute to a better environment for the development of tourism.

The initiative is part of the work of the Council for Reforms in the Tourism Sector and provides an opportunity for proposals from businesses and organizations to be organized and discussed during the preparation of specific reforms.

The document has been published on the home page of the Ministry of Tourism’s website and will be accessible via the “Proposals to the Reform Council” button.

The goal is for industry representatives to be able to identify not only the challenges they face but also specific solutions for more competitive, efficient, and sustainable tourism.

Completed forms can be sent to: reformi@tourism.government.bg.
