MESSAGE FROM THE MINISTRY OF TOURISM

Bulgaria welcomes tourists from 34 countries as of June 15th, 2020 without the 14-day quarantine

 

From June 15, 2020, Bulgaria will receive tourists from 34 countries in connection with the start of the 2020 summer tourist season, based on a Order № РД-01-338 of the Minister of Health of June 13, 2020.

 

As of June 15, 2020, on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria for tourism purposes without undergoing a 14-day quarantine may enter through all border checkpoints tourists arriving from:

 

  1. Republic of Austria;
  2. Kingdom of the Netherlands;
  3. Federal Republic of Germany;
  4. Republic of Poland;
  5. Hellenic Republic;
  6. Kingdom of Denmark;
  7. Romania;
  8. Republic of Estonia;
  9. Slovak Republic;
  10. Republic of Slovenia;
  11. Hungary;
  12. Republic of Finland;
  13. Republic of Cyprus;
  14. French Republic;
  15. Republic of Latvia;
  16. Republic of Croatia;
  17. Republic of Lithuania;
  18. Czech Republic;
  19. Grand Duchy of Luxembourg;
  20. Iceland;
  21. Kingdom of Norway;
  22. Principality of Liechtenstein;
  23. Swiss Confederation;
  24. Republic of San Marino;
  25. Principality of Andorra;
  26. Principality of Monaco;
  27. Vatican City State;
  28. Republic of Malta;
  29. Italian Republic;
  30. Kingdom of Spain;
  31. Republic of Ireland;
  32. Republic of Serbia;
  33. Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina
  34. Montenegro

 

This list shall be updated depending on the development of the epidemic situation.

We specify that the measure applies to those arriving from the above countries, who  are citizens of the EU, Schengen, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Republic of Serbia, Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republic of Montenegro.

Persons who are not placed under quarantine, as well as persons who transit through the territory of the country, submit to the border health control authorities a declaration form, which obliges them to comply with the introduced anti-epidemic measures, and by which they declare they are aware of the risks of COVID-19 disease.
