Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (BSEC)
 

The Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (BSEC) is an international regional economic organization of the Black Sea region. Initially, it was set up in 1992 by Turkey, in 1999 received the status of full international organization. Currently, member states are Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine.

BSEC promotes and coordinates regional cooperation in a wide range of areas - tourism, trade, banking, communications, energy, transport, agriculture, health, environmental protection, combating organized crime and others. On November 15, 2010 in Athens, Greece, was adopted Statement of Ministers responsible for tourism in the Member States of the Organization for Black Sea Economic Cooperation. BSEC has adopted two declarations on development and cooperation in the tourism sector - in 2002 and 2005.
